Community

Madison, the county seat of Madison County, is situated in Northeast Nebraska at the junction of Highways 81 and 32. Madison is a perfect location whether you are looking for a home or commercial location.

Madison residents enjoy the benefits of small-town living yet only a short drive can connect you to any city in the United States. Some residents choose to commute to Norfolk, Columbus, and Lindsay, Neb., where larger employers are located. Air service from the Norfolk Airport (13 minutes) has daily flights to Denver, CO.

Other large cities within short driving distance are Sioux City, IA; Omaha, Lincoln, and Grand Island, Neb.; and Yankton, South Dakota. Come see what Madison has to offer you!
