Recreation/Tourism
Madison has two parks covering 12 acres. Facilities include playground equipment, picnic tables, swimming pool, tennis courts, and ball diamonds. The five unsupervised playgrounds have standard playground facilities. Programs are offered in softball, baseball, and soccer.

Annual celebrations in Madison include 4th of July Celebration and parade on July 4; the Madison County Fair in July; and Christmas in Madison.
Recreation programs include softball, baseball, swimming, scouting, basketball, flag football, adult volleyball and soccer.
The Madison County Museum and Gift Shop is open weekdays. The museum focuses on the entire county and is the exclusive home of the Ritchie Ashburn display.
